About The New House

Rip and I have been talking about building a new home for years and now it will finally become a reality!  Our new home will be right next door to the old one.  Our house we have now, has many “issues” and we started to realize that as we enter our “golden years” maybe it would no longer be a good fit for us. Rip is constantly fixing and maintaining an endless barrage of problems, i.e. structural, pluming, electrical and heating.  There comes a time when  you start to think that maybe you’re getting to old for this. The old house will still be used though as a framing studio and gallery. We’re also sure that with two sons, one of them will be staying here from time to time.  The new house will also have a feature that is near and dear to my heart…I will FINALLY have my own studio!  You have no idea what that means to me.  Well you do if you’re an artist.  I can not wait to go into my own studio that I will have set up exactly as I’ve always dreamed! It brings tears to my eyes every time I think of it! So stay tuned and please join us on our building adventure! Heavy equipment arrives Saturday, can’t wait!!!
